Loup’s Winter Song “I Love Snow!”
(sung to the tune of Jingle Bells)
We’re off to take a walk
I’m such a happy dog,
Carrying my crusty sock
And sniffing every log.
Charging through the snow
With a poor bewildered boy,
I yank him to and fro
Just like he was a toy.
A rabbit has gone by
I smell his furry scent,
I heave a heavy sigh
And wonder where he went.
Snowbanks are such fun
I take a flying leap,
To jump in every one
So soft and oh so deep.
CHORUS
Oh, I love snow
I love snow
Snow is really great
Why can’t winter last all year?
Why do I have to wait?
Oh Dog! I wish I was there jumping in them snowbanks with ya! I feel more cool already!
ReplyDeleteLoup! That is a great song! We had a pup named Samantha in our pack once. She was 1/2 Norwegian Elkhound and 1/2 Big Furry White Dog. She lived where it is warm and always dreamed of living in Alaska and pulling a sled. Have you ever done that?

P.S. We probably wouldn't like snow. It would probably be too deep!
